Muzaffarabad, (Hayat News): Former President and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, and current Member of the Legislative Assembly and Parliamentary Leader of the Pakistan People’s Party, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, announced that October 27 will be observed as Black Day by the Kashmiri people. On this day, Kashmiris will reaffirm their commitment to continue their struggle for Kashmir’s full independence and the realization of a united Pakistan.
In his statement, Ex-AJK President Sardar Yaqoob emphasized the importance of marking Black Day on a diplomatic scale, aiming to bring global attention to the Kashmir issue. He stated that the entire Kashmiri nation stands united, ready to make any sacrifice necessary for their freedom. History, he noted, is filled with examples of the sacrifices made by Kashmiris in pursuit of independence, with countless lives given and resources mobilized by their forefathers.
He added that, even today, Kashmiris are prepared to follow the legacy of their ancestors, demonstrating their unwavering commitment. On October 27, Kashmiris will come together to show their resilience and unity, refusing to yield to oppressive forces. They call upon the United Nations to address the ongoing injustices in Occupied Kashmir, enabling Kashmiris to determine their own future.
He also urged the Kashmiri community in Karachi to actively participate in Black Day events, encouraging all Kashmiris to showcase their national awareness and solidarity through their presence on this day.
