Muzaffarabad (Hayat News) – Chaudhry Muhammad Ilyas, former Administrator of the Municipal Corporation District Kotli and a central leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Azad Kashmir, announced that the party’s 57th foundation day will be celebrated with great enthusiasm. Speaking to the media, he highlighted that the PPP is not just a political party but the founding force of democracy in Pakistan. He emphasized that Pakistan’s challenges can only be addressed by strengthening democratic institutions.
Chaudhry Ilyas paid tribute to the sacrifices of PPP leaders and workers, who have shed their blood to uphold and nurture democracy in the country. “We are steadfast in our commitment to democracy,” he said, reaffirming the party’s unwavering support for their young leader, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in his efforts to reinforce democratic values.
He criticized the “Niazi Rang March,” describing it as an attempt by a failed group to politicize critical constitutional matters. He accused the Niazi group of trying to undermine important appointments for their own political gain, stating that their “nefarious intentions” have been exposed to the public. He expressed confidence that these efforts would end in failure once again, as the people of Pakistan have rejected such tactics.
