LAHORE: Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique attended a seminar organized by the Auqaf Department focused on raising awareness about dengue.
The workshop highlighted key authorities, including Dr. Syed Tahir Raza Bukhari, Secretary of the Auqaf Division, DG Auqaf, and Extra Secretary Nabila Javed. Delegates from different strict theological schools, including Jamia Naimiya, Jamia Ashrafia, and the Establishment of Minhaj-ul-Qur’an, likewise took part.

The minister also mentioned that emergency services would soon be initiated on highways for public convenience. “To thrive in this world and the hereafter, we must adhere to the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH),” he stated, reinforcing the health department’s commitment to combating polio and other deadly diseases.
Secretary Dr. Syed Tahir Raza Bukhari affirmed that the message of dengue prevention would be disseminated to every seminary, urging religious scholars to emphasize cleanliness after each prayer to help eradicate dengue.
