ISLAMABAD – The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police confirmed on Friday that there has been no directive to change bank operating hours, with all banks maintaining their regular schedules.
An ICT Police spokesperson informed APP that recommendations have been provided to banks and other financial institutions to strengthen security procedures across the capital, especially in light of a recent increase in bank robberies.
The ICT Police are actively working to enhance safety measures for financial institutions to address these security concerns.
The public was reminded that all official information and updates will be issued solely by the Public Relations Branch of the Islamabad Police.
